William Schaffer and Daniel Mathew co own the Mr. Gay Omaha competition. With its introduction in 2009, Mr. Gay Omaha was an instant sensation not only with the gay patrons, but also with the straight crowd.
A new Mr. Gay Omaha is crowned annually in the month of May. Contestants are judged in 4 categories: interview, solo talent, creative costume and evening wear.
