Heartland Pride

Pride first was organized in Omaha, Nebraska on June 29th, 1985 by the Imperial Court of Nebraska and was located in Midtown's Turner Park (Present Day Midtown Crossing) with 60 participants. It is now developed into an annual cultural festival and parade with over 7,000 participants representing a diverse community with the mission of promoting equality and celebrating our diversity. From the popular beer garden and drag entertainers to live music, community booths, merchandise, artists, family area and entertainment.
